Trust Your Clarity

I am learning to trust the clarity of my mind and heart.

There is a way to have things come much more easily than I have imagined over my lifetime.

I have lived with the belief that pushing hard, working out detailed plans, and assigning tasks is the most efficient way to get results.

My recent experience in Ireland provided an alternative view to my usual method.

We hired a driver for a day, allowing us to see parts of the country that would otherwise not have been possible.

About an hour after he dropped us back at the hotel, I realized I had left my expensive sunglasses in his car.

I called him, and he confirmed my sunglasses were in his vehicle. Unfortunately, he lived more than an hour from where we were staying.

I became calm and felt my feet on the ground, and I knew in my gut that my glasses would be returned without a hassle. I didn’t see how this might happen.

My calmness stayed with me for the rest of the day, with a sense of knowing everything would work out.

The next day I received an email saying the driver had to come back close to where I was staying and he would drop my sunglasses at the hotel.

How easy was that?

How can things like this happen, and is it possible other experiences of my life could unfold with the same ease?
