Think Like A Goldfish

One of the most memorable moments in the Ted Lasso Series is when Ted gives Sam some advice after he messes up a play during practice.

Ted starts off by asking Sam a question: "Do you know what the happiest animal on earth is?”

Sam is puzzled, but Ted answers his own question: "It's a goldfish."

Sam still looks confused, so Ted elaborates: "You know why? It's got a 10-second memory. Be a goldfish, Sam."

This advice may seem simple, but it holds a powerful message. Ted is telling Sam to forget about his mistake and move on, just like a goldfish does.

This message can be applied not just to sports, but to life in general.

Sometimes we mess up, but it's important to learn from our mistakes and not dwell on them.

By being like a goldfish, we can let go of our past errors and focus on the present and the future.
