Footprints In The Snow

We take our dog to the park every morning.

After a snowfall, we must break trail as we follow a familiar direction.

After a few days, paths were created, going in various directions.

One after the other, we follow unknown leaders who have created a solid path through the snow.

No more trudging and straining to break trail.

It’s easy to follow the solid path on the packed snow.

The packed trail is only sometimes where I want to go, but I follow it anyway because it is much easier than walking in the deep snow.

What trail are you following made by a known or unknown leader that is theirs and not yours?

The downtrodden path may be easier to walk, but does it get you where you want to be?

If you want an exceptional result in your life, you will have to break the trail for yourself using your physical and emotional stamina to get to where you want to be.
